EDITORIAL: Sun Fei Fei in American Vogue, September 2011



Sun Fei Fei's career just went into overdrive as one of Steven Meisel's favorite girls. This year alone, Meisel has shot Fei Fei for the Louis Vuitton Fall 2011/Winter 2012 ads and two editorials for Vogue Italia.

Although this one-page editorial from Vogue US features some of the topic Asian models in the world, I am not a fan of story. I can hardly recognize the girls in all that garish hair and clothes. I wish they had chosen a more natural look.

Vintage: Ling Tan Editorial for US Vogue, 1997


This editorial was definitely from early 1997 because Ling is wearing the Spring/Summer 1998 Christian Dior cheongsam (photo 1) that Nicole Kidman wore to the Oscar in March 1997. Plus Debra Shaw is wearing the Dior Masai warrior dress from the same collection.
